After only 18 months
Naturefund has been supporting reforestation at the Patuca National Park in Honduras since 2007. In 2011, we first tested the reforestation method "dynamic agroforestry". It rebuilds natural forests, while simultaneously providing the people with food and products. After 18 months all the forest gardens planted in 2011 were already covered in trees and the people had more to eat from the area than ever before.Five photographs illustrate the forest gardens' development
