Agriculture has a major impact on our flora and fauna. A report published by the EU in 2020 shows that a turnaround in agricultural policy is urgently needed to preserve nature in Europe. Intensive agriculture was identified as the main cause of biodiversity loss. The decline in biodiversity, dry soils and increasingly hot summers show: Changes are underway, which both politics and civil society need to influence.
On this page Naturefund informs about current developments in European and national agricultural policy and shows alternative ways of agriculture.
