The dry seasons in Bolivia can be very long and very dry but in the rainy season thunderstorms flood whole regions. For this reason, Naturefund has also supported the construction of water retention basins in various places in Bolivia in 2019. These are built under guidance and with local raw materials by the families who will later draw their water from them.
