For the first time, a harpy with offspring was observed in Honduras. Anyone who ever sees a harpy can be extremely lucky. The second largest bird of the earth hides in the dense jungles of Central and South America and rears a cub only every 3 to 4 years, which he hides in a nest which is 25-30 meters high. Observation: So far almost impossible. All the more sensational was, that there was found a harpy nest with a cub in the Patuca National Park.
