In December 2009, Naturefund, together with the Society for Nature Conservation and Landscaping (GNA), bought beaver land in Sinntal and thus permanently protected it. The beaver is a master of dam construction and forms a unique landscape of wet meadows and alluvial forest, which offers space for a variety of species.
