Response:
"Thank you very much for sending me your results. They are indeed interesting and I agree with our deputy parliamentary group leader in the Bundestag, Matthias Miersch, who calls for a similar social consensus process for agriculture as for the coal phase-out.
Furthermore, I also believe that socially just and ecologically sustainable agriculture must provide greater support for smaller and more regional farms.
For more concrete positioning of the European SPD, I would refer you to our agricultural policy spokeswoman Maria Noichl."

Response:
"Tomorrow's agriculture must be committed to true multifunctionality!
The production of tasty, high quality and healthy food, at the same time with a fair income for the farmers, is ONE goal.
Another is the preservation of biodiversity, clean water, pollinators, vital soil, climate and the well-being of farm animals.
Only if we approach these two goals not as conflicting objectives, but as a common task, will the road lead to a good future for agriculture."

Response:
"Thank you very much for your email. First of all, I would like to thank you for your commitment to involving EU citizens in the discussion about the future of agriculture. You and your organization are thus contributing to the success of a functioning democratic discussion on an important issue.
I too am concerned about the changes in nature as a result of climate change and intensive agriculture. At the same time, I am also aware of the difficult financial situation of many smaller farms and, together with the other members of the SPD in the European Parliament, I am campaigning for a reform of EU agricultural subsidies. This should strengthen smaller farms and farms that are committed to nature conservation.
It is our position that tomorrow's agriculture must be committed to genuine multifunctionality. The production of high-quality, healthy food and a fair income for farmers are one of several goals. Central must be the preservation of biodiversity, clean water, pollinators, vital soils, climate and animal welfare. These two goals must be understood as a common task and not as conflicting goals in order to achieve a good future for agriculture. If farms work in this way for the preservation of nature, and thus in the public interest, this work can also be remunerated with public funds. Together, we will work for these goals in the European Parliament."
