MOLLESNEJTA joins in!

In 2012, the research farm MOLLESNEJTA and Naturefund had the seemingly unrealistic dream of replanting the Andean Cordillera in the valley of Cochabamba. In 2014, they started a pilot project together with other organizations and helped 14 farmer families to switch to dynamic agroforestry. In 2016, another 41 plots have been converted to dynamic agroforestry and there are more requests than we expected. Agroforst has become chic. Yes, it is getting greener in the valley.
At the beginning of 2000 Dr. Noemi Stadler-Kaulich founded the research farm MOLLESNEJTA. She wanted to test whether the promising cultivation method of dynamic agroforestry works in a semi-desert in the highlands of Bolivia at 2,800 m above sea level. Gradually, within 10 years, the research farm transformed itself from a desert into a species-rich forest. More than 400 species of plants now grow on the farm, including many that are hardly found otherwise in the valley of Cochabamba. The research farm MOLLESNEJTA now trains in the dynamic agroforestry method and is visited by scientists, diploma students, trainees, farmers and Bolivian officials as well as interested people from all over the world.
Dr. Noemi Stadler-Kaulich: "MOLLESNEJTA is: living and working in harmony with Mother Earth."
