On the Way to the Andes – Live Conference on March 11, 2026

Photos

Our next trip will take us to Bolivia—to the region where Dynamic Agroforestry began in 2014. Back then, we helped 14 families with the dynamic planting of trees and field crops. Today, more than 300 families are already using this method, and more and more communities are asking how they can implement this farming practice in their own areas.

Florian is documenting the trip with a camera and drone to produce videos for a Spanish-language online course. Our goal is to share knowledge and promote the spread of dynamic agroforestry.

Naturefund cordially invites you to a live video conference directly from Bolivia:

Wednesday, March 11, 2026, 7:00 p.m. (German time)

You’ll receive the Zoom link via email a few days in advance.
Join us and experience the Andes with us—firsthand, live, and up close!

Costa Rica—Life at Its Best! First Photos Online

The rainforest in Costa Rica still leaves a deep impression on us. We were particularly moved by the untouched, pristine forests with their incredible intensity.

As we go through our photos and videos, we’ve selected the first, most beautiful moments to share with you. They showcase the power of nature as well as our enriching encounters with the local people.

Water—the lifeblood of plants

Water is essential: Plants cannot grow without it. The winter months are therefore not only ideal for selecting plants and planning the DAF plot, but also for proactively planning the water supply for the summer.

Nature provides three sources for this: groundwater, rain, and… evaporation. The latter is often overlooked, but it can be specifically harnessed to significantly improve water supply during hot spells.
