The ESWE Versorgungs AG has joined Naturefund because nowadays the preservation of forests is a vital contribution to climate protection.

For over 75 years ESWE Versorgungs AG has been the energy provider in Wiesbaden. The ESWE Versorgungs AG actively supports the protection of the environment and offers certified green energy generated through hydropower. Furthermore the ESWE Versorgungs AG emphasizes renewable energy and low CO₂ emissions to its customers. They have also supported the construction of several solar power systems in Wiesbaden and are planning an environmentally-friendly biomass heating plant. 

Ralf Schodlok, spokesperson for the ESWE Versorgungs AG, states that: "The co-operation with Naturefund represents worldwide successful forest conservation and reforestation projects.
