Naturefund is creating a forest network that will initiate and support reforestation projects worldwide. Naturefund is therefore searching for 40 companies and sponsors who are willing to donate 2,500 EUR annually for this forest network.

The Forest Network constitutes a worldwide network

With the Forest Network, Naturefund would like to finance and provide long-term support to local conservation and reforestation projects that are often very effective.

Furthermore, a worldwide network of companies, sponsors and NGOs should emerge, who are able to exchange information on the subject of environment and climate protection, think ahead together and create new ideas.

Forest Network criteria

For the selection of the projects, the Forest Network has the following criteria:

• The projects will be implemented by local nature conservation organisations.
• The local population is in favour of the conservation project.
• The projects protect forests that are still intact and replant cleared areas.
• The projects support sustainable agroforestry, which offers new possibilities of income to local communities and at the same time ensures the preservation of nature.
• The projects support the protection of public or private national parks or respective nature conservation areas.
