We bought a wet meadow in the Kinzigtal area in order to protect habitat for the Lapwing! The Lapwing has almost entirely disappeared from our landscape as wetland meadows with flood channels have become increasingly rare in Germany. Naturefund, together with HGON bought 9,770 square metres of meadow in Kinzigtal in order to convert it into a Lapwing biotope.
