Kaiser's Tengelmann, together with Naturefund, has planted 50,000 trees and shrubs all over Germany. 

It is mostly tree types such as Spindle, Dogwood, Blackthorn and Alder Buckthorn that are planted, so as to offer food and habitat to the many species present. At the same time the chosen species are natural forerunners to the emergence of forests. For every tree sold Kaiser's Tengelmann gave one euro to Naturefund. Naturefund used this contribution to establish new conservation projects, such as the purchase of a meadow orchard in the Frankfurt am Main area.

For Kaiser's Tengelmann the preservation of the variety of species is vital. Since 1984 they have supported nature conservation projects and environmentally friendly trade. Kaiser's Tengelmann AG is part of the Tengelmann group, whose headquarters are located in Viersen.
